Nobody But Us Poem by KIRIT SHAH

Nobody But Us

Nobody but Us
Columbine or Parkland
Sandy hook or Maryland
Mass shooting here and there
Shooting in news everyday
Father losing daughter, sister losing brother,
Mother losing son, trauma everywhere,
Who do we blame? Who do we blame?
Dreams are shattered as glass on floor.
Those who survived, living hell.
Sleepless night, life full of pain.
Blame the guns, blame NRA,
Blame the litigators, blame the legislatures,
Blame the lobbyist and second amendment,
But we pay NRA, we vote for legislatures.
We want guns, just others to have none.
We have nobody to blame but us!
