Nobody Should Live This Way Poem by Jason Hedrick

Nobody Should Live This Way

My world is full of hate, not love.
It’s cold and dark, no light above.
It gets harder and harder every single day.
Nobody wants to live this way.
I should find a hole to crawl in.
Then nobody will ever see me again.
That would make it a better place.
Where nobody has to see my face.
I sit in the dark, my eyes glowing red.
With all these thoughts racing through my head.
I’ve tried to make all of this end.
It just seems to happen again and again.
How do I make this go away?
This is my life, nobody should have to stay.
