Non-Friendship Poem by Beth Ann

Non-Friendship

I'm more than sure
we'll never say another word
to each other again

Unless under some strange circumstance
puts us In the same place at the same time
Which is certainly possible

I miss you terribly
But if you never want to see me again
I will understand

I was hoping that
we could repair our friendship
and that would be
a good step on the road
To my recovery from depression

I'm really disappointed on
How our friendship turned out
But I'm not lying awake
At night wondering
If there's something
I could do to fix it anymore
Which is something

But it's hard not to obsess
About if there was ever something
I could of done or was this
Always going to fade away

I've fallen out of alot of friendships
But you're the one
That I really want back
I'm sorry for everything
