Noontime Pains Poem by RIC BASTASA

Noontime Pains

Aloud The sirens sound loudly for the arrival of high noon

The world stops
& snoops The heart keeps

Leaps

Even in high noon Pains, stones,
wide eyes till one p.m. and some bland stories to keep this harsh day moving

till five.
