Normal? Poem by Ben Dominguez

Is life just a methodic system we live in?
Are we shaped to be 'normal' by words like just and sin?
Why can't we break the bonds that cause us to be 'normal?
Is it so hard to stop being what these accursed creatures call formal?
Now, I do declare
that if nobody else can bear
The weight of breaking stereotypes
The weight of breaking out of social stripes
Now, I do declare
that I will make this world a faire
Of my own methodic design
where everybody can shine
And none are forced to live in this bind
that people burn into my mind
as being the way to live as a Misses and Misters
Some come with me brothers and sisters
Break the bonds that bind us
And only then can true peace find us
