North Wind - Poem by Richard Greene
Yesterday north wind came
scrubbing the air blue
sending clouds scudding
across clean fields of sky
lashing leaves from trees
sweeping away summer’s traces.
When I went for the newspaper
the front door opened
on a wall of chill air.
