Northbound To The Highlands. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Northbound To The Highlands.

When the wind blows over the glens, and the lochs freeze over, I venture towards the highlands. My heart skips a beat when amongst the wilderness and the scenic beauty of the forest canopy covered in snow. Timeless and breathtaking views of Scotland are precious moments to quiet the spirit. Skies in colors of violet and dark blue sweep across the mountains.
