Nostalgia Poem by Anders Lim

Nostalgia

Counting down the days as I approach the end
I wish I could bring time back again
Back to those times of laughter and joy
Memories that even time can’t destroy
School is done, summer has arrived
I’m just glad I survived
So what if school was rough
I just can’t get enough
Everyday I looked forward to a new start
Bearing yesterday’s experience at heart
What more can I say
I loved each and every day
Now as the semester approaches the end
Nostalgia comes to haunt me again
