images rise from the deep
corners of my mind,

near forgotten faces,
places
come clear as the
haze lifts.

The seasons have fled
a score & ten
what does await
as the city that
shaped,
my thoughts
beckons

footfalls
so light then
carefree heart,
eyes that danced
smiles so ready
I see it all
and
ask myself
is this
homecoming
