Not A Mother Poem by Saniya Galeyeva

Not A Mother

No,
I am not a mother.
Though
it is a great drama,
I do
not have any others
grounds
to feel sad or luckless.

No,
you are not my sweetheart.
So,
you can act as you want.
Yes,
I'm a barren flower,
maize
which can give no sprout.

No,
I won't be the mother
Of
your two sons. Why bother?
Yeah,
you say we'll have children,
swear
you will never leave me.

But I
do know you're unfaithful,
and thy
vows are all playful.
Nope,
I am not offended.
Hope,
you'll have a descendant.

But what
Can I give you, flippant?
Proud
Am I, but not fecund.
So well,
I am desert ground.
And tell
Me no more about
Your dreams. I will leave them out.

Realistically worded sensationally crafted poem. Thanks for sharing.
