Not Afraid Poem by Ninja Soul

I'm not afraid to leave home,
or to go to war.

I'm not afraid to tell my family goodbye,
and I'm not afraid to go.

What am I saying?

That's a lie...
A part of me is afraid of leaving home,
and I'm definitely afraid of war.

I'm afraid to say goodbye,
what if it'd be my last?

Is being afraid normal?
Especially when I chose this path,
that I plan to take?
