it's not enough
sorry won't bring you back
or take away this pain you left behind
how could you leave me
why did you let those men kill you
were you thinking of me when they pumped bullets into you heart
did you love me enough to live
it's not enough
memories of you won't heal this heart
you the man who claimed to be my father
how can you lie there in that coffin looking so peaceful
and not utter a single word
the last time we spoke, you said you love me
yet now as i look at you
you can't say those words again
how can you go and die
leaving me, us your kids and loving wife
would you still be here if i told you i loved you
are you happy where you are or missing me like i do you
there are so many what if's
yet my heart believes that you died because of me
it's not enough
the fact that you died without me next to you
