Not Everyone To You Poem by Francis Duggan

Not Everyone To You

Like many i am one who is not without foes
This is part of being human one does have to suppose
Not everyone of me has nice things for to say
You win some and lose some life works in this way
Even the most popular person in the town
Has a few in their words to drag her or him down
The words of a wise person i do recall
In life you may win many but you won't win them all
You can only live to be the best you can be
This applies to everyone and everyone includes you and me
From one in need of your help never turn away
And try to perform a good deed or two every day
But in life there is one thing on you can depend
And this is not everyone to you will be a good friend.
