Not Gossip Poem by kwane Lamb

Not Gossip

Like a witch in heat, running wild…
Woman has her own style…
Insides wasting for several days…
Amazing…she lives at all…
Let man try wasting a day or two…
His life is through…
Nothing much he can do…
But the woman she prevails…
The more predominate of this race…
Follows that cycle like a champ…
A few frowns and some clowns…
And yet she is still around…
Her duty to earth she is bound…
And we men fray…and know why…not
Not conscious of our clowning and frowning…
We as men feel we have duty only to ourselves…
Until her cycles ends…Then we wish…too…
Confront and say…Ahh! …
Bring on the spoils as if we (man) have…
Won a battle…
We pucker up…beat our chest….
Getting ready to be served…
And God bless…for women never say…
Men! You sure have nerves…
To ask for what’s mine after cycle…time…
When you were truly never concerned…
Have no lesson …you’ve learned…
This… my friend you must respect, work for…
And earn…
