I.m neither a sailor
nor do I belong to nomad tribe
yet, somehow, an ocean
simmers within myself
and a door that opens
into the desert,
keeps sticking with my eyes.
Where is this written in my family tree?
that my ancestors spent their days
under the bright scorching canopy of the sun
they spent their nights in the company of stars
wrestling with winds
they crossed the rivers
and could occupy the vastness of deserts
I know not why
I became crazy
in possession of an unfamiliar dream
that simmering of the sea
I've felt within myself,
and the door that opens into a deserts,
keeps sticking with my eyes
Where as
I'm neither a sailor
nor do I belong to a nomad tribe
