Not In This Lifetime Poem by Edwin Tavarro

Not In This Lifetime

I will stop remembering you…
Because I’m good in forgetting
I will stop thinking about you,
It is better not to…

For I know you’ll leave me soon
So I turn to go
Your grieves and vain, keeps haunting me
But I know its right. I think it is

When you let me down
You put me deeper
My soul is in distrust
You always did

So I’ll stop remembering you
Meditating my grief and leading me in pain
Reckon my life, I’m not in vain
You can make misery, no not in this life

I’ll stop loving you…
It’s the right thing to do
Because fooling me? No, not this one
Never were and I never will
