Not In Vain Poem by somebody else

Not In Vain

Used much to often, as just a common word,
but its every misuse, has been heard.
And a rule it has been, for a very long time,
that to speak it recklessly, is a sinful crime.
It has held true always, as the ages past,
those that foolishly abuse it, a guilty shadow cast.
Therefore unwise indeed, to treat with such distain,
because it's no simple matter, to take it in vain.
For like crying wolf, once too many,
when help is needed, you'll not find any.
And you alone, will be to blame,
for its been told in vain, not to take his name.
On the list of ten it is the third,
so to claim ignorance, is just absurd.
Therefore speak it wisely, and with praise,
for it is he alone, that prolongs your days.
When spoken correctly, is there no sweeter sound,
truly blessed are lips, his name have found.
