Not My Conscience Poem by Isabelle Astra

Not My Conscience

The white has vanished
Gone away
Now full of the rainbow
In it's vast array

It shines on my cheek
This sun that's so bright.
It stays and plays for hours,
Till it's pushed away by the night.

As I lay out here in silence
I think of how I'm here.
I'm lying here for a long time
I hear a voice that's near.

It's His voice, so strong.
I hear it now and then.
Mostly when it's tranquil.
He waits to come again.
