I think anyone would be able to tell,
For you how I fell,
I fell for you and her both,
But you are happy with each other,
I am fine on the side lines,
I still get to see you,
Both of you,
I see the wrinkles in your nose,
The slimming of your eyes when you look at me,
The happiness in your most uncontrollable laughter,
And how sleepy you can look after a long day of entertainment,
How you love your soft blankets,
And your mountain of plushies,
The way you jump when something happens to quickly,
And how you never wait for your food to cool before the first bite,
I know how she loves her animals with all her heart,
How she gets angry and closes herself off when she's stressed or upset,
How she loves fries from Charley's,
She'll only eat chicken but if it looks a slightly different color she gets a second opinion,
I love when you both hand me the foods you don't like,
I like being able to do something,
Even as small as eating the olives from your salads,
Or the tomatoes from your sandwiches.
I like being the one to carry your blankets or pay for your things when you don't know if you have enough,
I love you both so much,
Yet I won't speak up,
I love you too much to ruin your lives,
Despite how lost I feel without you both,
I love you my friends,
And yet I shall never tell.
Continue dancing together to reach the stars,
I shall forever be the astronomer,
That watches you shine as you waltz across the cosmos.
