Not There
You say you understand
But I wonder if you really do,
You said you loved me
But it wasn't true,
I wanted you to know
What I was going through,
So that maybe you'd see
Why I wasn't so close to you,
I tried my hardest to do it alone
But I just needed you,
I needed you by my side
And you weren't there,
Though I wish time could rewind
It can't, so we have to live with what we get.
