in the back of your mind
what you thought you'd find
a broken heart
still falling apart
hiding all my fears
drowning in my tears
needing you
sorry, thats just not true

all you'll find out
im over you, without a doubt
when u let go of my hand
it made me understand
you weren't the one
an this love was done

today a brand new day
an i wont let it slip away
i'll live my life, an know im strong
cause iv got friends to get me along

walk around at a steady pace
you'll know im happy by the look on my face
as the day comes to a finish
this happiness wont diminish
