Pictured the life from an unusual hand
Watched it pass by,
Too anxious to let go and live,
Too tired to even try.

Truely believed most of my life
Live selflessly and help someone else
It was just an excuse as I see the picture now,
Just to avoid living for my own self.

Always envied people of their glee
So I invested in living each day,
Lending my time hiding out from the eyes
And searching for ways to just flee away.

The pain we endure, the hardship we go through
Slowly weaken us and make it hard to move on,
So don't get lost in the scars of your past,
Life is short, in no time it'll be gone.

Live in the moment and witness the now,
Don't let your mind wander to what's coming next.
Cherish this moment and live to the fullest.
And give the life your personal best.

I know humans are disgusting,
And change their color with the blink of an eye
But one just can't avoid hurting the other
When everyone just wants a chance in their life

Listen to your heart, smack the limits
Hound your ambitions and thrive for the best
Let no one tell you what you're capable of.
Just believe in yourself and eff the rest.

However I've got this through the aplomb of pain
A truth about human lives,
That regardless of which road one takes and how often one die,
At long last one just wants to try and survive.

Now is the time you subjugate your fears,
So stand up and encounter a new day.
Let the hurts of the past wash away with the flowing tears
And stop letting your precious life slip away.
