Note To Self Poem by Henrie Howells

Note To Self

The smiles and jokes won't compare
to the lies and deceit.
Cos what you had you've lost, you've given in to defeat.

What once was hope
Is now dispare.
Turned into violent eyes
With an angry stare.

Trying is only worth the heart behind it, And with no mended heart - happiness... Well you'll never find it.

To pass the blame is all thats left
Third time mistakes, and empty regret.

Don't regret it - it made you smile,
I hope that it was worth your while.
The cracks have shown and its too late,
My love for you is already hate.

To my past...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When love turns to hate,,, To all the guys out there-
Always remember that when a good thing goes bad it's not the end of the world, it's just the end of a world that you had with one girl...
