Prayer For Japan Poem by Henrie Howells

Prayer For Japan

May God remember
Japan
Who've suffered ruin
In their land.
Lord turn the tide
As they strive.
Work in their favour
To provide.
Bless their endeavours
(Only You can)
With good favour
From Your hand.
Remember the sorrowful,
Weak, broken and torn;
Strengthen them when
They're down and worn.
God of compassion
(Who shall always be) ,
I thank You for hearing
This humble plea.
