Nothing Poem by Savannah Lewis

Nothing

Steep down the cliffside
He stood glistening in the moonlight
He glanced as the rocks tumbled down
I fell down the side
He screamed down to me
I saw the fear in his eyes
He knew it would not last
I knew he could not last
She saw the pain in my eyes
He knew that I would die
She knew that he was with me
I landed brokenly
He rushed to my side
She stood far away from me
He spoke sad like to me
He said he was sorry
I could not speak
He kissed me so sweetly
I could not move
He caressed me so gently
Then suddenly I could not feel
He told me he loved me
Then suddenly I could not see
He told me He was sorry
Then suddenly I could not hear
No sound
No light
No feeling
Nothing
