Nothing Lasts Forever Poem by Victoria Sypniewski

Nothing Lasts Forever

If nothing lasts forever
Why am I waiting here
Waiting for the sensation
Nudging to the stars
You take my pain away
Like nobody else can
Moving up and down
Feeling whole once again
Fragile and willing
Torn and addicted
When it all falls down
Are you going to be around
Promise me the world
Pull it on a string
Nothing lasts forever
You’re the song I want to sing
