He hears the music down the hall
Sees it on his backside lids
Feels the beetings through the wall
Like so many helpless kids
It's far from being the first occasion
Seeks comfort in his ticking clock
as he attempts to flee the invasion
Realizes soon it's stuck
His mom blatantly sobbing on the floor
Drop by drop getting used to the sound
Sweeps towards his mental shore
as he collapses and hits the ground
She travelled through hell to keep them alive
Unravelled what it means to be more than brave
to free her son she had learned to survive
But now she lost what she tried so hard to save
