Nothing More Poem by Dan Jensen

Nothing More

You took my life,
You decieved to be my wife,
I have nothing left anymore,
Only this powerless heart core.

You took my look,
You took my charming book,
Away you stole my soul,
And left my heart to be burned out coal.

I can find no new,
I can't find only my true,
There's nothing left for me here,
That, you have made for me clear.

But I stand and take what I can,
I know I am the perfect man,
I give away, and I get,
No tears from me will be shed.

My heart it burned on,
And pierced by the painful torn,
I shall never give up,
I will reach the top.
