Nothing Worth Waiting For Poem by Mary Champion

Nothing Worth Waiting For

There will come a time when Time forgets itself;
skidding to a dead halt,
colliding with the brick wall of Eternity

It is then, when Time stands still,
that Nothing will move.
No longer constrained by Time,
Nothing will come into its own.
Nothing will happen at last.
After countless millennia of destructive Time
Nothing will have control.
Nothing will live,
Nothing will matter -
matter so much more than we dreamed it could.

Life in Time has its ups and downs -
but Nothing will be a lot better.
