Nothingness Poem by Kaberi Mukherjee

Nothingness

Nothingness clasps the dusk,
Discoloured or coloured maybe
Leaves gazing blankly.
Musings that danced in merriment once
Lost in distant misty paths.

Love descends in lonely nights,
As dew drops on barren land,
Merely to be lost forever.
Sobs some dreams,
Forsaken in those rosy dawns.

A stream of endless dreams descended
Once, from one of those rugged terrains,
Alas! Changed it's course
For ways went off on a tangent.

Lives change as seasons,
And fate takes over the stage,
Reasoning plays the protagonist,
In the battle of mind and heart.
