There came a time and day
When the terrorists struck in my area of responsibility
A battle so uncalled for
Humans maimed, blown in scorn
With deaths bullets, sabre, bombs and mines
Drab atmosphere of camouflage, fear and dilemma
Five...years today I remember
November 4,2011.
Twenty six Soldiers, my comrades
Saw their ends by a fire from muzzles
On the ground gallant men,
Muddled in sand and blood,
Loud orders are yelled,
Gather the men! ! !
Burgle sound, gallant men are mustered
Marching down to battle, Avenge the Adversaries!
Undaunted by fear and loss
With a heart swelled by heroism and gallantry.
Fighting from low intensity conflict to blood bath,
From a day scheduled turned months
And years in this war all alone there exhausted
From dust to dawn, like lion the soldier
Fought and fought like a fish always
Where no rest of tired souls
And nobody to sleep never to slumber a day and night
Daily, fears of day's war comes
Every minutes it got to time in battlefields
To rest the soul of slump
Our fellow comrade Martyrs and innocent citizen
In a time as human beings, the moving spirit weak
Still, we Matched down enclosed left, right and all round defence.
I am a soldier! a man of valour
Whose fight for peace of the world.
I am soldier! warriors of the world
If i fall on land, i know too die in combat is an honour
And if i come back, to live is a privilege,
This is my pledge for my mother land.
The future is what I see with the rising sun
We'll encouraged by hours of soldiers spirit.
Because fears is dead and gone with
Wounds, scars and dead on the ground.
And ''no going back'' an old soldiers song sang
Where the last blood drop shed
To mix with sacred sand with determination
To save my mothers land soul
I am soldier, gallant man who sold his liberty
As during the scorching sun
A soldier gives the citizen his best hat
At rain and cold he gives out his coat
Because of love on his people he dashed his shirt
And wear camouflage in order to create safe haven with his skin
And finally soldier lost his soul
And not to lost the war for the greatest
And better humanity to emerge while
Leaving orphaned children and widow wives,
family and friends in solace alone
To see the world face of sorrow
To kiss the aches of the burn fires sorrows
The soldiers stood to end in this heroic earth
And to been given a white and green union jack
A meager money and nothing more to get.
I am a soldier
To die in combat is the path choose of a soldier
For heroic death that other may live in peace an honour
