Now Poem by James Woodworth

Now

Sitting in the light.
Holding in the fight.

Can’t escape this place,
As if I’m trapped in space.

I see your face,
And I wonder if it’s genuine,
I need to brace myself,
Unknown to the course that lies.

When I look at you,
I don’t see us too.

When I think of her,
I smile in conquer.

Knowing I’ll succeed,
I can’t help but question me,
Don’t understand what is,
But you’d never know.
