Now Behold The Lamb Poem by Dashaun Rashod Snipes Mister

Now Behold The Lamb

Now behold the Lamb, so pure and white

A symbol of sacrifice, shining in the night

With eyes of compassion, and a heart so true

The Lamb of God, who came to save me and you

From the highest of heavens, He willingly came down

To take on flesh, and wear a thorny crown

His love knew no bounds, as He walked this earth

Performing miracles and spreading His worth

Through the streets He walked, with such grace and ease

He healed the sick and brought the dead to their knees

With words of wisdom, and parables so wise

The Lamb of God, opened up blinded eyes

But as the time drew near, the Lamb knew His fate

To be betrayed, and suffer a cruel and bitter hate

Yet He did not waver, or try to escape

For He came with a purpose, to seal our fate

Now behold the Lamb, as He carries His cross

With every step, He carries our loss

The weight of our sins, upon His bruised back

He bore it all, without a single crack

Oh how the crowds jeered, and mocked His name

But the Lamb of God, remained still and tame

For He knew the end, of this painful story

He knew that in three days, He would rise in all glory

Now behold the Lamb, as He hangs on that tree

The Lamb of God, who died for you and me

His blood was shed, to wash away our sin

To make us pure, and allow us to enter in

But death could not hold Him, for He rose again

Defeating the grave, and breaking every chain

Now the Lamb sits at the right hand of God

And we are redeemed, by His precious blood

So now every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess

That Jesus is Lord, and He is the best

He is the Lamb, who was slain for our sake

And now behold the Lamb, who has risen to awake

Hallelujah, now behold the Lamb

Our Savior, our King, the great I AM

Let us lift our voices, and shout with glee

For the Lamb has set us free

Now behold the Lamb, with eyes of love

Sent from above, to make us whole

Let us give Him praise, and honor His name

For He is the Lamb, who forever reigns.
