Now Do Not Complain... - Poem by RIC BASTASA

I know your predicament
it is all hazy
something is intentionally made obscure
purposely to conceal
what is highly
confidential and personal
on the other hand
there is a certain need for venting
of suppressed anger
like she is a piece of old meat
inside a pressure cooker
and finally dead
and those that touch her
feels that she is good
to eat.

do not attempt to understand
pain, there is no use
it will not take you to light
and you are not prepared for
the dark.
