With age the clouds began to clear
Every life event became steadily clearer
With boost from experience
All the puzzles of childhood
That kept me racking my brains
And left me lost in wondering
Started to appear aptly as acceptable
Now, without doubt, I understand
Experience has totally tutored me
Permitting me to plainly perceive
That the no-noes of infanthood
Are usual affairs at adulthood
Though, some, not approved
Are, proven, possibilities
Illogical at early years
But familiar at later life
Now I understand
A worker can be poor
A child can die
A marriage can break-up
Wealthy now but poor tomorrow
Happy today but sad later
Friends now but enemies soon
Healthy now but sick soon
A catalogue of polar opposites
Extreme exchange of fortune
Incredible at infancy
Are ordinary odds
Realities very regular
In the world we live in
Now I clearly understand.

The student becomes teacher, very wise and wonderful poem beginning with the parting of the clouds of confusion followed by the lessons of life in reflection and then acceptance and realization. Wonderfully written.
