Carpe Diem Poem: Now or Never
The hour waits for no one's plea,
The wind does not recall the past;
Each moment lost is gone for good,
Each chance postponed may never last.
Do not delay your open hand,
Do not defer the words you mean;
The life you guard in careful sleep
Becomes the grief of "might-have-been."
Strike while the pulse is fierce and true,
Step while the path is clear ahead;
For hesitation chains the heart,
And leaves the soul in silent dread.
Seize the day, however small,
Act before the moment dies;
For urgency is life's own breath,
And regret is born when courage lies.
