Now That You Have Left Us Poem by Paul Reed

Now That You Have Left Us

Rating: 0.5

Now that you have left us
In the autumn of our lives
With youth all around
As our old age arrives;

Now there is no-one left
That was there at the beginning
How strange it all feels
To be losing a race we were winning;

Can we ever meet again
Or does eternity our lives sever?
How strange it all feels
To be cast adrift forever

How strange, very fine, I like it.
