Nowhere By Train Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Nowhere By Train

Rating: 5.0

I think I might
sit on a train
not to go anywhere
apart from where
the train takes me
just sit
and not go anywhere
and when I get there
I will stay where I am
and wait
to be taken back
and after returning
from nowhere
I will reflect upon
the back of towns
the back of forests
the back where seams
fray and come undone
loose stitching, trying
to see the workings
