Numb - Poem by Marie Roy
There seems to be a hole
Where my soul used to be
There seems to be an emptiness
They say it's where my heart should be
Could it be that you have taken so much from me?
My thoughts are they aftermath of a disaster
My screams are heard only by a deaf being
My tears fall to the ocean
And my pain has become illness
