Numb Dream Poem by alex calderon

I am numb, I feel nothing.
Sadness is all I am.
Everything I taste is always bland.
Everytime i jump i never land, I just hover
In the air.
I try to escape but I just stay up like my hair.

I feel no fear, I am not scared.
I am numb, nothing can help.
I try to yelp and yet nothing comes to save me.
"Is this all a bad dream? "

I feel lifeless.
I have nothing inside,
just emptiness is all that resides.
