Numb World Poem by Farooq Hussain

Numb World

Neither they understand nor do they perceive the yelling of truth
When it comes in a full package which proves itself is true
They don’t even think to obey it

Blind and folded is this world with all eyes shut
When false the antonym of truth presented in front of blind eyes they believe it
I sometime feel like blinded man with eyes
With nose with no smelling sensation
Ears that always disobey authenticity and take unreality
And the body who always follows the same

Blood oozing from the people who are stuck to their tidy principals
They just sat their legs crossed compelled
Putting a hope in the sky
And a hope in the mind
To look to the fact on the face of the earth

Hopeless, compelled, wounded and burning
They just sit,
Sit, sit, and sit
