Nutters Anonymous. Poem by Jack E and Rosie Blennim

Nutters Anonymous.

The wind did howl,
And the rain did fall,
As 'Nutters anonymous' gathered in the old village hall.

It was their very first meeting,
Short ones, thin ones, and tall,
And although they were definitely there,
Some swore they were not really there at all? ? ? ? ?

The seats were in a circle,
Each seat held a nutter,
Their nose's were twitching and their eyes did a flutter.

Some glanced this way,
And others glanced this way and that,
While some did one thing,
Yet others smelt a rat?

They'd come to get help
(We know that they need it!)
For each person there was a registered twit!

Some rose to their feet and declared they were sane.
Others said they would not come again.
While the Chief Of Police came with his invisible friend,
And a giant rabbit came too, with some carrots to lend.

The time had come,
The meeting finally ended,
And everyone felt properly offended.

They tip-toed home,
Dined on brown bread and octopus,
And all thanked GOD the meeting had been Anonymous?
