O Breeze Poem by Istabraq Al Ahmadi

O Breeze

O breeze, bring her bright glimmer to me.
Let the clouds drink the wine of her eyes free
To sway with her scent and hail my birth.
For, seasons of fear shrouded this gloomy earth,
and no space in my eyes, have left to me.
Even the stiff, yellow leaf knows very well
that if I fall, my sorrow will bid me farewell.
So, how long shall I wait for the thorny crown to fall?
What will become of me if I outlived my tears,
Caught in the dark mayhem, blown by the years?
He who lost his eyes can feel the sky,
and live in corners with darkness deep.
But, he who lost his love shall breathe
The dying breath of absence to die.
