O India, My Dear Motherland! Poem by CHANDAN PANDEY

O India, My Dear Motherland!

You are not just a piece of land;
O India, my dear motherland!
Your glorious past makes me proud;
'We'll lead the world, ' I proclaim aloud.

You are called the origin of peace;
We had Licchavi, a democracy like Greece.
Gautam Buddha, Tagore, and Gandhi,
Who can forget the March of Dandi?

'Your gifts to humanity resound,
Names of compassion you've truly crowned.
Around the globe, your reach extends;
India's role in world affairs transcends.'

'Whether UK's PM Rishi Sunak,
Or Google's Sundar Pichai's knack;
As global citizens, we set our sights so high,
Reaching for the stars in the boundless sky.'

'In history's gallery, our kings did rise,
Sandrocottus, Ashoka, 'neath endless skies.
Bani Thani's charm, like Mona Lisa's gaze,
Satyamev Jayate, our hearts ablaze.'

Chandrayaan-3, our pride, our lunar flight,
A symbol of devotion, gleaming through the night.
In tribute to heroes, Kalam's vision we hold dear,
ISRO's starlit triumph shines, oh so clear.

'In your embrace, I firmly stand,
O India, my dear motherland.
With pride and love, hand in hand,
Together, we'll shape a brighter domain.'
