O Lord, If Thou Dost My One Wish Fulfill - Poem by krishna ghimire
O lord, if thou dost my one wish fulfill,
I would never come to thee rolling down my tears,
Or whinnying, or asking thee for any another wish,
Nor ever with my weep to freeze thy feet!
If thou dost grant utterance to my grandson,
If thy generous hands over him,
Dost bless with a wisdom tongue,
And lips speak all his life's paragons!
If thou dost to me, this one favor o lord,
If my grandson like a free bird in yonder,
Chirrups thy prayer along with me,
My all wishes of life, thou wouldst fulfill!
If, o lord, thou kindness canst reverse his fate,
Which has written by thy heartless pen,
If the pain of his autism, thou couldst heal,
I be thy servant forever o generous king!
If thou, o lord, dost my this one wish fulfill,
With that one wish, I could rejoice all my life!

I wish you the best in this and that God hears your call. I too have a handicapped son. Other people don't realise the weight that you carry 7 days a week 24 hours a day. All the best to your family. (Report) Reply
