O Mother Saraswati Poem by Rajendra Prasad Meena Jaipur India

O Mother Saraswati

O Mother Saraswati, pure and bright,
Fill our minds with gentle light.
Teach us how to think and see,
What is false and what should be.
You teach us truth with loving care,
You teach us how to learn and share.
Science asks and tries to prove,
You show why our hearts should move.
One asks how, one shows why,
Both together help us fly.
Bless our minds, so clean, so free,
With faith and facts in harmony.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is a modern devotional piece addressed to Mother Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Written in simple, child-friendly language with a clear rhyming pattern, it aims to make learning joyful and meaningful for young readers. The poem gently brings together faith and modern science, showing that both are important in a student's life. While science teaches us to question, test, and prove, faith nurtures values like kindness, clarity, and inner understanding. Instead of presenting them as opposites, the poem highlights their harmony and balance. Its central message is that true education is complete only when facts and values, reason and belief, thinking and feeling grow together. The poem encourages children to learn with an open mind, a curious spirit, and a respectful heart.
