O Naughty Child..! [part-4]

[ Part-4 ]

All day long
Like a tiny sparrow
On its delightful flight-
Running and dancing
You spread out
Cute little wings!
Is there not
That one word
' Weariness '
In your dictionary?

What we reject
You greedily collect;
How worthless articles
Transform to gold
At the incident of
Your curious rays ?
Won't you part with
This intricate alchemistry?

Even disfigured dolls
Are decorated citizens
Of your kingdom of renown!
You please them
With kingly concern
And favour them
With royal service -
But not hesitate to punish
At appropriate moments!
These are the hallmarks
Of your stately reign!

Dolls or playthings
Whatever be their worth
Never you care-
Nothing in full shape
For not more than a day
Before your august court
You will deign to concede!
Only on mutilating all
By stamping and tearing
You gain your peace!
