Ocean Poem by Man S.

Ocean

An arc of liquid.
Washing against moist sand.
Shells come wading in.
It flows, alive, under the surface.
When the waves come crashing down, it harmonizes a sweet song I fear no one has heard before.
The sea foam is a blanket that covers the blue of the deep
The fish are a highway, nothing is predictable
The coral's colors produce a rainbow
The whale that passes by covers the light of the sun as it swims over me
When I step out of the endless horizon of seawater, the water follows me, wanting to draw me in.
The sand, moist and hot, covers my feet like a shoe.
As I walk back to base camp, the ocean wishes to see me again.
