October Morning Poem by Sheena Mowris

October Morning

It was 3: 45 Friday morning,
You were both laughing and having the time of your lives.
He was driving too fast
You were looking out the window.
There was too much alcohol in his blood
He went to turn left, but...
Too intoxicated, he drove into a pole.
Too bad you didn't know that very breath would be your last
Leaving us all remembering the past.

[Chorus]

Oh now, ...
Please hold my hand
As I watch you fade away.
Again and again every day
Oh my love; please come back to us.
Come back and hold my hand
My dear.

He was suppose to be your friend,
But he didn't care.
*Screw the government cause he didn't go to jail!
Now we sall sit, thinking of you.
Missing our dear friend.

[Chorus]

The air is cold and chill.
Even in the sun, its icy cold.
Reminding me of that cold October morning.
Oh no, my dear please don't go.
Oh my dear; just come back to me,
Come back to us.
Come back and hold my hand.

[Chorus]
