Ode To An Abused Mom Poem by Brendon Langeveldt

Ode To An Abused Mom

I see you everyday,
bearing the scars.
You still keep your head up,
eyes toward the stars.

I feel the pain you bear inside,
the biter emotions, you try to hide.
You hurt each day and still you pray,
maybe tomorow will be a beter day.

I see your arm is plastered up,
from the way he beat you up.
Even your eye is black and blue,
I hate to see what he has done to you.

I can't stand lookingat you,
coz I'm scared to see your face.
I wish that there were someone else,
that could take his place.

I see you everyday,
bearing those scars.
You still kep your head up,
eyes toward the stars.

I feel the pain you hold inside,
I know the feelings you try to hide.
You hurt each day and still you pray,
maybe tomorrow God will make a way.

I saw you today
and you had no scars.
Your eyes stil looking up
fixed toward the stars.

I'm glad, coz you're no longer hurting, but
I'm sad, coz now me you're desserting.

I saw you everyday,
bearing those scars.
Till the end you kept your head up,
eyes toward the stars.
